We are a proud, family-owned sawmill rooted in the heart of southwest Minnesota. Launched in 2023, our operation carries forward a legacy of hard work, quality craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the land that goes back generations.

Our story truly begins with my grandfather, a hardworking Dane who ran Duus Sawmill in Tyler, MN from the mid-1990s until 2018. Grandpa poured his heart and hands into every log, turning local trees into durable lumber. His commitment to excellence and integrity left a lasting impression on our family—and inspired us to keep that tradition alive in a new way.

Today, the sawmill is run by my father, my brother, and me. We founded this business with a clear purpose: to bring high-quality, locally sourced hardwoods directly to our community with a simple, transparent supply chain. By cutting out unnecessary middlemen, we deliver the most cost-effective option in our region without ever compromising on quality.

We specialize in Hardwood sales and custom milling on our fully hydraulic bandsaw mill, allowing us to handle unique requests and maximize the beauty and potential in every piece of wood. Our solar kilns provide efficient, eco-friendly drying that preserves the natural character of the lumber. We also offer expert slab finishing using our 36” sanders and flatteners, turning raw material into ready-to-use pieces for furniture makers, builders, woodworkers, and homeowners alike.
